The Goodwill Excel Center (GEC), Goodwill of Greater Washington’s unique, tuition-free adult charter high school, will be graduating its fifth class! We would like to introduce a few of our graduates to you!

A Grandma and Grandson Graduation

The Goodwill Excel Center graduated its third and largest class to date:  65 students! Every graduate spent almost two years diligently working toward earning the diploma that had eluded them earlier in life.  Finally, their dedication and commitment paid off! We are also proud to share the story of a grandmother and grandson who earned their diplomas together.

On July 21st 15 Dreams were Earned and Fulfilled!

We would like to take a moment to applaud the 15 adults who comprised the very first graduating class from The Goodwill Excel Center in Washington D.C. On Friday, July 21st, these amazing individuals walked across the stage and accepted their high school diploma, unlocking the door to a brighter future for themselves and paving the way for future Excel Center students to follow in their footsteps.

Advice from Goodwill of Greater Washington Execs to New Grads

Last year we reached out to a few local D.C. business leaders to ask them what tips they would give recent graduates as they enter the workforce. This year we approached our own Goodwill of Greater Washington execs and asked them the same question to see what words of wisdom they would provide.
