WASHINGTON, DC — On Saturday, March 25, Goodwill of Greater Washington (Goodwill) celebrated the reopening of its newly redesigned retail store located at 6136 Arlington Blvd. in Falls Church, VA. The interior of the store has been completely renovated to offer customers a more contemporary and boutique shopping experience. Patrons will experience the same great Goodwill prices in a whole new atmosphere.
“We’re very excited about this new store model”, said Brendan Hurley, Chief Marketing Officer for Goodwill of Greater Washington. “As consumer preferences evolve Goodwill must evolve with them, making this new, contemporary look much more appealing to today’s discerning shopper.”
Goodwill collaborated with Studio Ideya on the redesign which includes a new paint scheme, upgraded flooring, and rustic touches such as exposed brick and wood planks repurposed from a farm in northern Virginia.
Goodwill would also like to recognize real estate firm Newmark, Grubb, Knight, Frank for playing a pivotal role in the negotiation of new lease terms keeping Goodwill in the Willston II Shopping Center for years to come.
