WORC Hires New Program Manager

Marcia Hoexter joined WORC, an affiliate of Goodwill of Greater Washington, full-time on February 26th as our Program Manager for Workforce Development Organizations (WDO) Partnerships.

As the Program Manager for Workforce Development Organization (WDO) Partnerships, Marcia will work closely with our partners –One-Stop centers, community-based organizations, faith-based organizations, government agencies, and non-profit service providers – throughout the region assisting them help their clients find jobs.

Marcia is a workforce development expert. She has created and managed programs to meet job and life-skill needs of clients in non-profit community based organizations, educational institutions, international exchange programs, and for clients with disabilities and other barriers to employment. She managed a career services program for a student body of 325 students at ITT Technical Institute where they ranked # 1 in District for pre-graduate employment rate and 2nd (out of 85) for highest student salary increase from 2004 – 2005.
