Goodwill’s First Trunk Show a HUGE Success!

Goodwill of Greater Washington launched its first Travelin’ Trunk Show March 28th at the Air Rights Building in Bethesda, MD with the support of Calvert Group, Ltd and Jones, Lang, Lasalle Property Management.

The trunk show was more successful than we could have hoped, introducing Goodwill’s quality retail store apparel to a whole new audience, while also generating additional retail revenue and educating hundreds of people on Goodwill’s mission and how shopping and donating to Goodwill benefits our community.

In addition to the trunk show, Calvert employees and building tenants donated hundreds of quality donations to Goodwill which will be sold in our retail stores to continue funding our mission.

Our next trunk show will be held at the Sakura Matsuri Street Festival downtown at the culmination of the Cherry Blossom Festival on April 14th.
