Goodwill and the Japan – America Society to Team Up Again at the 2007 Cherry Blossom Festival

Goodwill of Greater Washington will be providing the cleaning services for the fourth straight year at the Sakura Matsuri Street Festival, which is the culmination of the Annual Cherry Blossom Festival in the Nation’s Capital.

In addition to providing the cleaning for the 100,000 people expected at the day long festival on April 14th, Goodwill will be setting up a trunk show, where visitors can sample and purchase quality apparel available at any of Goodwill’s nine area retail stores.

All proceeds from retail sales will be used to support Goodwill’s mission of providing job training and placement services for people with disadvantages and disabilities right here in our community.
