The Young Professionals Council, Let’s Get to Work! Networking Social at El Centro D.F. was a huge success!

We cannot thank El Centro enough for donating their amazing rooftop space to us – their staff and everything on their menu is incredible! We exceeded every one of our goals for the evening and it was all thanks to the overwhelming support we received from our community.

• Register 100 People: A total of 170 people registered and more than 130 people attended!
• Raise $1,000: A whopping $2,462 was raised!
• Get our graduates to work!: Thanks to all of this generosity, the money raised will help provide 82 graduates (toward our goal of 230) with $25 SmarTrip cards to help them get to work.

This month, Washington SmartCEO Magazine recognized Michael Frohm, Goodwill of Greater Washington’s Chief Operating Officer, as a winner of its Executive Management Awards. Michael was recognized along with several other Greater Washington business executives for their creative management vision, leadership philosophy, innovative strategy and work ethic.

2013 Executive Management Award winners collectively generated $2.58 billion in annual revenue and employed over 14,400 individuals.
