US Airways Rounds Up their Impact with Goodwill of Greater Washington!

US Airways supported Goodwill by donating their time at DC Goodwill’s Glebe Road Retail Store and Donation Center

US Airways recently made a $10,000 investment in DC Goodwill’s job training programs. In an effort to maximize the impact of their generous gift US Airways is challenging Goodwill customers by encouraging them to donate through our Round Up campaign when shopping at Goodwill.

Shoppers can support the Round up campaign by “rounding up” their purchases to the nearest dollar, with every penny going towards Goodwill’s job training, placement, and coaching services.

Davelle Clothiers® is Helping People Get to Work

Davelle Clothiers® is meeting the transportation needs of Goodwill’s graduates by partnering with us during their Fall Trade-In/Trade-Up sale.

When you visit Davelle Clothier’s custom made suits and menswear store in Reston, VA between October 15 and November 3, you can drop off your old suit which will be donated to Goodwill®. When you purchase a new custom suit from Davelle, 5% of the sale will also be donated to help Goodwill graduates get to work!

Every donation will be used to purchase $25 SmarTrip metro cards, which will be shared with Goodwill graduates to ease one of their biggest barriers to employment. Therefore by purchasing your new suit from Davelle Clothier’s, you will be helping people with disabilities and disadvantages along the road to self-sufficiency!
