“Our knowledge has made us cynical; our cleverness, hard and unkind. We think too much and feel too little. More than machinery, we need humanity. More than cleverness, we need kindness and gentleness.”
- Charlie Chaplin
What a smart guy Charlie Chaplin was…and so many years later the quote still holds! But as I read this, I realized that there are so many who still have much kindness and gentleness and still many who need both!
Thank you for showing your kindness and gentleness to the people we serve when you give a donation to one of our stores; you attend one of our Goodwill events; or you write a check to support one of our job training programs. You do make a difference and the Goodwill team is always thankful!
