Unfamiliar with the laws to protect her, Judy Ellis Moy said that in 2010 she was laid off her job because of her disability. The Maryland State Department of Education Division of Rehabilitation Services (DORS) referred Judy to Goodwill of Greater Washington, hoping that Goodwill could help her secure new employment.

Tracy, her Career Coach, helped Judy rewrite her resume and enroll in a series of workshops that helped land her a job in security at a DC school! Thanks to Goodwill, Judy now proudly says, "I can stand a little taller."
