Vice President, Corperate Solutions, Capital One Bank
As Sr. Vice President Sales and Service, John Wilson has responsibility for planning and deploying new sales and service capabilities, technologies, reporting, and other key initiatives into Capital One's Retail Bank branches and other channels. He also has responsibility for managing the overall portfolio of initiatives within the Retail Bank.
Mr. Wilson joined Capital One in 2003 leading the IT Strategy and Analysis organization. In that role, Mr. Wilson led IT strategic planning, performance metrics and reporting, consulting and change management initiatives, and numerous other functions within the IT organization. He later became Divisional CIO for all enterprise staff functions at Capital One including Finance, Treasury, Risk Management, Compliance, and Human Resources.
Mr. Wilson has broad leadership experience prior to joining Capital One. His experience includes management consulting, strategic planning, business development, and general management positions in companies ranging from Fortune 100 to entrepreneurial startups. Mr. Wilson's experience spans a number of industries including financial services, media and entertainment, telecommunications, software and video distribution, and oil and chemicals.
Mr. Wilson holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
