On October 14, 2010, Washington Area Women's Foundation (WAWF) recognized Goodwill of Greater Washington at a fundraiser for the outstanding work Goodwill does and for focusing case management and wrap around services on female clients and employees. By offering support services that benefit women, Goodwill is able to help them overcome the unique challenges that women face as mothers, wives, heads-of-household and caretakers.
