Share a Smile to Impact Lives
Beginning May 5th, Goodwill will once again be conducting the wildly successful Share a Smile campaign in many of our retail stores for Goodwill Industries Week.
We ask that you help spread Goodwill’s mission by purchasing a “Smiling G” for $1 at the point of sale. Your donation will make a huge and immediate impact on the lives of people hoping to improve their quality of life.

Goodwill & Davelle Clothiers Partner Up to Help Graduates Get to Work!
For many low-income individuals in the Greater Washington community, the hardest part about getting to work is…getting to work. The high cost of public transportation can be a significant barrier for many of our job training program graduates.
Throughout the month of May Davelle Clothiers will be conducting its 14th Annual Investment Sale where you can purchase custom men’s suits at a significantly discounted price.
During the sale whenever a customer purchases a $25 SmarTrip Card for a Goodwill graduate, Davelle Clothiers will match it, doubling the impact on our local community!
GEICO E-cycling and Donation Drive
Goodwill of Greater Washington and GEICO are partnering to conduct one of the region’s largest E-cycling and donation drives.
On Saturday,May 11th, GEICO will accept community donations for Goodwill at 5260 Western Avenue, Chevy Chase, Maryland 20815, between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. Donors can bring their used goods including: electronics, clothing, housewares and furniture. A Goodwill truck will be at the site.
Beyoncé is Lending Her Voice for GOOD
Goodwill Industries International is pleased to announce that Beyoncé Knowles-Carter will lend her voice to help raise awareness about Goodwill’s mission of transforming lives through the power of work. The announcement comes just as Beyoncé gets ready to kick off The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour today in Serbia.
“Goodwill helps people get back to work by providing education, job training and placement. I wanted to team up with an organization that puts people first and works every day to help them improve and re-establish their lives,” said Beyoncé.
Beyoncé will encourage fans to support Goodwill by promoting donation drives at her North American concerts beginning on Friday, June 28,
