1. Starting date of next PART class? July 7.

2. How can I get into your next PART Construction class?
Please come to PART intake/registration at Goodwill, located 2200 South Dakota Avenue NE , on Tuesday at 9 am.

From the Beltway 95/495 heading South
Take exit 22B ( Baltimore / Washington Parkway ) towards New York Ave (50 West)

Stay in right lane and look for South Dakota Ave exit on right. Stay left on South Dakota service lane exit and make left into Goodwill parking lot at first light.

From the Beltway 95/495 heading North
Take exit 19B (50 West) Stay on 50 West for approximately 7 miles. Look for South Dakota exit on right and exit roadway. Stay left on South Dakota service lane exit and make left into Goodwill parking lot at first light.

Metro / Bus Accessible:
H-6 Brookland Metro

B8 / B9 from Rhode Island Ave Metro

Bring the following documents.

    1. 90-day police clearance
    2. Social Security Card or Birth Certificate
    3. Government agency issued photo I.D. showing proof DC residency.
    4. Copy of GED or High School Diploma
    5. Copy of Resume

3. Is there a waiting list? How does the waiting list work?
Yes.  The waiting list is a list of all people who have completed enrollment requirements, and the names are in the order of when the completed applications were received.

4. Where am I on the list? When can you tell me when I can get in the program?
If you have a completed application and we've received all the required documentation, you will receive notification of acceptance the week of June 30 th for the next class that will start July 7 th .  Before then, you are welcome to come and utilize our learning resource center.

5. I thought I was confirmed… why am I now off this list?
You are not off the list. Students do not receive final confirmation of acceptance in the program until the week of June 30th .

6. I heard there is a transportation stipend. How much is the stipend?
The nature of that assistance will be communicated at new student orientation.

7. Can you give me an overview of the program?
Refer to one page program overview.

8. When is PART intake?
Our regularly scheduled PART intake sessions will resume on Tuesday at 9am.

9. Am I guaranteed a job? Why not?
We do not guarantee job placement, but we will do everything we can to help you prepare for employment and will provide you job placement assistance.
